The diagram represents the upper and lower extreme regions of two k-generation trees or branches connected together at their edges. This is a diagram of a “closed Cayley tree” topology with a branching ratio of 4 for each tree, (which is understood to continue until their I individual tree edges, for k-1 generations), until the terminating generation is reached, at which level they share sites (at C, E, and D, for example.) |
