Produces a cited reference to the Online Etymology Dictionary website for the specified word(s). To specify the date of retrieval, use the optional accessdate parameter with an ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD formatted date.
Example: {{OEtymD|camouflage|accessdate=2025-12-06}} produces:
- Harper, Douglas. "camouflage". Online Etymology Dictionary. Retrieved 2025-12-06.
